This ring seal from SKF is a hard-wearing addition to your plummer block housing. It's made from a tough thermoplastic polyester elastomer, so delivers a long service life. Friction is reduced thanks to its specially finished surface. This ring seal features a four-lip design to provide more space for lubricant, which is essential for achieving high performance. To install it, simply grind the seal face on the shaft to a roughness up to 3.2μm.
• Installation is made easy with the split seal style
• Functions in a temperature range from -40°C to +100°C for use in demanding industrial settings
• Use with multiple housings as it features two seals (four halves) per pack
• Capable of accommodating shaft speeds up to 13mps
• Straightforward installation allows for 1° angle of misalignment
