This grinding disc is a non-woven surface conditioning product designed to abrade, clean and finish metal substrates in industrial environments. Combining shaped abrasive grain with a conformable web, it removes surface contaminants and modifies finishes without altering component geometry, making it suitable for low-pressure operations across a range of metals.

Features & Benefits

• Precision-shaped grain for increased cutting speed and life
• Coarse P150 grade delivering aggressive material removal
• Bright colour coding for Rapid disc identification
• 16mm bore for secure mounting on compatible spindles
• Rated to 15,000 r/min for high-speed rotary applications

Applications

• Suitable for stainless steel surface preparation prior to welding
• Ideal for deburring and blending on carbon steel components
• Can be used for finishing aluminium panels at low pressures
• Used with hook-and-loop or Roloc™ attachments for Rapid changeover
• Suitable for production and maintenance tasks in automation cells

What attachment methods are compatible with this disc?

It is intended for hook-and-loop and Roloc™ style attachments including a 7/8 centre hole option for quick mounting systems.

How does the abrasive perform on thin-section metals?

The non-woven web balances conformability and durability to finish thin sections without gouging or changing part geometry when used at low pressure.

How is pack quantity supplied for workshop stocking?

The product is supplied in packs containing 25 discs to support batch replenishment.

Which substrate types are appropriate for this abrasive?

It is formulated for aluminium, soft metals, carbon steel and stainless steel for cleaning, blending and finishing operations.
