This adhesive-backed/PSA sanding disc is a net-backed abrasive designed for general-purpose sanding, stock removal, scuffing and surface preparation across multiple substrates. It couples a blend of aluminium oxide and precision-shaped ceramic grain on a net support to allow dust extraction when used with a compatible backing pad and vacuum system, and it fits Hookit™ style hook-and-loop attachments for Rapid disc changes.

Features & Benefits

• Precision-shaped ceramic and aluminium oxide for higher cut rates
• Pattern-coated abrasive surface to reduce loading
• Net backing enabling dust extraction with vacuum systems
• Integrated loops for quick hook-and-loop attachment
• Available in a range of grades up to 320+ for finish control

Applications

• Suitable for preparing painted surfaces prior to assembly
• Ideal for scuffing composite panels in electronics manufacturing
• Used for finishing whitewood and fillers in prototype workshops
• Can be used for surface work on metals in mechanical fabrication
• Suitable for sanding gelcoat on composite mouldings

What substrate types does it handle effectively?

It is formulated for primer, paint, lacquer, sealers, fillers, putties, gelcoat, composites, timber and metals.

How should it be stored to maintain performance?

Store in original packaging at 16°C to 26°C and 35 to 50% relative humidity on a first-in, first-out basis to preserve shelf life.

How does the disc assist with dust control during use?

The net backing permits extraction through the abrasive when paired with a supporting tool and a vacuum system, reducing airborne debris.

Which attachment method is required for quick disc changes?

The net backing includes integrated loops that mate with hook-and-loop backup pads for fast replacement.
