TE Connectivity MiniSeal High Performance Immersion-Resistant Crimp In-Line Butt Splices


MiniSeal high performance immersion-resistant crimp in-line butt splices consisting of a plated copper crimp barrel, meltable inserts and a heat-shrinkable transparent sealing sleeve made from radiation cross-linked polyvinylidene fluoride. These MiniSeal™ crimp splices are environmentally sealed and maintain the quality of the electrical connection and seal the splice against corrosion, galvanic action over time and exposure to harsh environments. Stock numbers with part numbers D-436-36/37/38 are MIL-S-81824/1 qualified and are suitable for use on aircraft and aerospace vehicles, or similar applications where exposure to severe wind and high moisture occurs.

For suitable crimp tool see stock number 444-5693, a heating tool and reflector attachment must also be used
