Schmersal Safety Interlock Switch, Key Lock, NO/NC - AZ16 Series - AZ16ZVRK-M20-2254
Protect operators and moveable machine guards with this safety interlock switch from Schmersal. It automatically senses when operational safety is at risk and almost instantly terminates a hazardous situation. The device's contacts are galvanically separated to prevent stray current flow, so enhanced levels of safety are assured. Its highly robust thermoplastic body provides a long service life and requires very little maintenance. The unit is supplied with tamper-proof screws to prevent it from being removed, while its multiple coding levels mean it can't be adjusted by anyone without authority.

How do I wire this safety switch?
Schmersal provides contact labelling in the wiring compartment of the switch. For the cable entry, suitable cable glands with an appropriate degree of protection must be used. After wiring, dust and soiling should be removed from the wiring compartment.
