Fluke Pressure Calibrator, 8 Bar Maximum Pressure Measurement, ±0.025% Accuracy - Fluke-719 100G

This pressure calibrator is a handheld, battery-powered instrument designed for Rapid on-site pressure and current loop verification in industrial control systems. It incorporates an electric pump for single-handed pressure generation, supports mA sourcing and measurement for loop diagnostics, and displays readings on an LCD to assist technicians working in automation, electronics and mechanical maintenance.

Features & Benefits

• ±0.025% measurement uncertainty for high-precision calibration
• 1 mbar display resolution for fine pressure adjustment
• Built-in electric pump enables one-handed pressure generation
• 24V loop supply powers transmitters during testing
• Operates from alkaline batteries for approximately 12 h of use
• Measures and sources mA with 0.015% accuracy for loop checks

Applications

• Suitable for calibrating high-accuracy pressure transmitters
• Used for testing and troubleshooting 4–20 mA control loops
• Ideal for field verification of pressure switches and I/Ps
• Can be used with pressure modules to extend measurement range
• Used for commissioning and routine maintenance of process valves

What pressure range can it measure and source?

The instrument covers from −850 mbar up to 8 bar on the 100 psi variant, and supports lower-range modules for reduced spans.

How quickly does the pump reach target pressures?

The pump can reach −30 psi in under 15 s and −100 psi in under 45 s using 1m of 1/8 in test hose, enabling efficient field work.

What protection exists against over-pressurisation?

Programmemable pump limit settings allow users to define target pressures and prevent accidental over-pressurisation during operation.

How long is the pump expected to remain serviceable?

The pump typically endures around 5,000 cycles between rebuilds with a total expected life equivalent to roughly 20,000 calibration cycles.

What interfaces assist with pressure control during tests?

A precision vernier adjustment and a variable release bleed valve provide fine control and smooth pressure changes while calibrating.

Note

Warranty is 3 years (pressure calibrator), 1 year (pump)
