Festo Pneumatic Guided Cylinder, Elastomer Cushioning, Plain-Bearing Guide - DFM-20-20-P-A-GF

Get workpieces in your automated system into pole position with this double-acting pneumatic guided cylinder from Festo. It's a smart choice for hefty holding, pressing and lifting tasks, as well as separating and stopping applications. A robust wrought-aluminium and high-alloy steel construction is bolstered by a yoke drive and multiple rods with plain-bearing guides to give you a rigid cylinder. This stops twisting and wear when you're handling heavy and high-torque loads. The 75mm body length and 20mm stroke keep it compact, so it works well in tight spaces. With an operating pressure between 2 and 10 bar, you don't need a high-power network to use this device.

Features & Benefits

• Drive and guide come as a single unit for swift assembly and a streamlined setup

• Position detection is possible with the addition of a proximity sensor (121-5836)

• Maximum speed of 0.8m/s means it keeps up with fast processes

• Operation at temperatures between -20°C and +80°C means it's reliable in harsh conditions

Applications

• Industrial conveyors

• Materials handling

• Sorting equipment
