The TEMD5010, from Vishay Semiconductors, is a silicon PIN photodiode. It comes in a compact, surface mount (SMD) packages containing and chip with a sensitive area of 7.5mm². The TEMD5010 detects both visible and near IR radiation. They are Ideal for use in high speed photodetector applications.
