Seamlessly transmit control and command data with this RJ45 (registered jack) connector from Phoenix Contact. It's compatible with category 5 LAN (local area network) ethernet cables and is suitable for use with data equipment and telecommunications networks.
The shielded male plug reduces the hazardous effects of EMI (electromagnetic interference) frequently found in busy industrial workplaces. This ensures other electrical components don't interfere with its smooth and fast data flow. If critical situations arise, the connector can be quickly wired, thanks to its IDC (insulation-displacement contact) technology that removes the need to strip conductors and ensures a gas-tight seal.
This robust connector has a housing made from die-cast zinc with high resistance to corrosion. That makes it a good choice for factories where moisture may be present. An IP20 (ingress protection) rating means it's protected from touch and objects larger than 12mm.
