Fluke Digital Thermometer, 1767°C Maximum Temperature Measurement, 2 Temperature Inputs - 54-2 B

This digital thermometer is a portable dual-input thermometer designed for field and workshop use, providing contact temperature measurement with thermocouple probes across a broad range of industrial applications. It records and displays temperature readings on a backlit dual display and transfers logged data via an infrared USB Interface for further analysis.

Features & Benefits

• ±0.05% accuracy with fast response for precise measurements
• Supports J, K, T, E, N, R, S thermocouples for sensor flexibility
• Data logging of up to 500 points with adjustable intervals
• MIN, MAX and AVG with relative time stamps for event tracking
• Infrared USB port for exporting logged data to PC software
• Sleep mode extending battery life to approximately 1000 h

Applications

• Suitable for monitoring bearings, motors and heat sinks in automation systems
• Ideal for measuring pipe and insulation temperatures in mechanical maintenance
• Used for checking corroded electrical connections and breakers in electrical diagnostics
• Can be used with laboratory-grade thermocouples for process verification in electronics
• Used for high-temperature component testing up to 1767 °C in industrial settings

Which thermocouple sensors can be connected?

You can connect J, K, T, E, N, R and S thermocouples to the two inputs, covering standard industrial sensors for contact measurement.

How is logged data reviewed and exported?

Logged entries can be recalled on the instrument and sent via the infrared USB Interface to FlukeView Forms® compatible PC software for analysis and graphing.

What power source does it use and how is battery access handled?

It runs on three AA batteries and the battery cover allows replacement without disturbing the calibration seal.

How does the instrument cope with demanding environments?

The case is splash- and dust-resistant and is protected by an impact-absorbing holster to withstand routine site use.

What display modes are available for comparative measurement?

The dual backlit display can show any combination of the two inputs, their difference, and MIN, MAX or AVG values for quick comparison.
