The Nexperia 8-bit shift register is designed with an internal storage register for flexible data handling. It includes separate clock and reset inputs for both the shift and storage registers. Data is shifted on the low-to-high transition of SHCP, and transferred to the storage register on the low-to-high transition of STCP.
