Flame-Retardant Paper Thermal Insulation, 1.2 m x 610 mm x 9 mm


This flame-retardant thermal insulation sheet is made from alkaline earth silicate (AES) wool fibres bonded with a low percentage of organic binder. It's specially processed to offer excellent performance in high-temperature applications such as heat shields and heat containment.

As paper thermal insulation is flexible, it can be easily cut and shaped and is designed for use as a high-temperature gasket material. This makes it an ideal choice in expansion joints or as a thin thermal break. By stopping components touching, it can be used to prevent them from bonding.

Resistant to chemicals and solvents, this thermal insulation sheet works in ultra-high temperatures (up to +1150ºC), so it's suitable for use in industrial environments such as furnaces, ovens and boilers. As it's also flame-retardant, it can be used in passive fire protection systems and as an effective fire stop.
