RS PRO Calcium-Magnesium Silicate Thermal Insulation, 1.5 m x 610 mm x 6 mm
This calcium-magnesium silicate thermal insulation sheet is flame-retardant and designed to provide excellent performance in heat shields, heat containment and other high-temperature uses. The Superwool 607 material includes a small amount of organic binder, which will burn off cleanly during the first firing.
The insulating blanket is designed to be an ideal high-temperature gasket, suitable for uses such as expansion joints or thermal breaks. It can keep heated components from bonding together by preventing them touching. And installation is fuss-free because the blanket is flexible and easy to cut and shape.
This thermal insulation sheet is resistant to solvents and chemicals, as well as temperatures of up to +1200ºC. You will find it in use in furnaces, boilers and other industrial applications. Its flame-retardant qualities also make it suitable for passive fire protection and fire stops.
