The B&R Industrial Automation GmbH Bus Module is equipped with node number switches that allow permanent address assignment. When placed at the start of an X20 block, it sets a unique base address, with subsequent modules automatically assigned addresses in ascending order. This feature enhances flexibility in system design and allows address configuration independently of the specific I/O modules used. It also offers logistical benefits by reducing part variety and simplifying inventory management.

Alpha Wire Xtra Guard 1 - braided and foil shielded is a high performance industrial cable. The foil shield provides moderate EMI protection, especially at lower frequencies. A tinned copper drain wire makes grounding the cable easy.
