RS PRO 30 kW Star Delta Starter, 400 V AC, 3 Phase, IP65
When you need to start motors at a lower voltage, pick this 30 kW three-phase star delta starter. It's a practical option for situations where a motor is used intermittently or with turned on and off frequently. A star delta starter has a timer and a thermal overload to prevent it overheating, along with three efficient contacts. Use star delta motor starters to control winding currents only.
As this starter one is supplied without an overload to protect against electrical surges, you'll need to choose a compatible overload (for example stock no. 685-1309) from the RF38 series. This should match the full-load current of your motor.
Operating at temperatures ranging from -25°C to +60°C, this device is often found in manufacturing applications. Its moulded plastic case is robust enough to provide IP65 ingress protection, making it an effective defence against dust and high-pressure water jets from all directions.
