RS PRO 3-Phase Star Delta Starter, 230 V AC, 30 kW, IP65
Use this star-delta starter from RS PRO to protect your equipment and motor during startup. It's a reliable solution that allows you to start your motor in three phases, with a lower inrush current to prevent damage. The initial phase uses a star connection to an induction motor, then transfers to a delta connection when it reaches 80% of its load speed.
The starter is protected against dust, small particles and water spray thanks to its IP65 rating. The starter housing is made of moulded plastic, which makes it highly durable and impact-resistant.
A starter like this one is often used in pumps, conveyors and engineering machinery. It can be operated up to 30 times in an hour, so it's particularly useful for applications where you need to frequently stop and start your motor.
