Honeywell Amplified Airflow Sensor,0 SLPM to 10 SLPM - AWM5000 Series - AWM5102VN
Use this airflow sensor from Honeywell to measure flow up to 10 SLPM (standard litres per minute). Its housing is made from a plastic material that's capable of handling pressures of up to 50 psi (pounds per square inch). As it's also highly durable, it ensures reliable performance in demanding applications and extends the product's lifespan. Snap-in AMP-compatible ports at either end let you establish reliable connections to your equipment with minimal maintenance and no need for tooling.
Features and Benefits
• Venturi-tube design reduces pressure loss and is suitable for high-velocity applications
• Features a sensor with remote mounting capability, which is ideal for complex arrangements or settings where space is limited
• The microchip is in direct contact with the flow stream, reducing the chance of errors caused by a clogged orifice or bypass channel
Applications
• Automotive industry
• Medical devices
• Laboratory equipment
What type of gas is this sensor calibrated for?
The sensor is calibrated for nitrogen gas (N2).
What is the maximum response time of this sensor?
This sensor can register an accurate measurement in no more than 60 milliseconds.
High Flow Mass Airflow/Amplified
AWM5000 series microbridge mass airflow sensors feature a venturi type flow housing. They measure flow as high as 20 SLPM while inducing a maximum pressure drop of 2.25N H2O. The microbridge chip is in direct contact with the flow stream, greatly reducing error possibilities due to orifice or bypass channel clogging.
Features and Benefits
• Linear voltage output;• Venturi design;• Remote mounting capability;• Active laser trimming improves interchangeability;• Separate gas calibration types:;– Ar (argon);– N2 (nitrogen) or;– CO2 (carbon dioxide)
Product Application Information
The rugged plastic package has been designed to withstand common mode pressures up to 50 psi. The small sensing element allows 100 Gs of shock without compromising performance. The included AMP compatible connector provides reliable connection in demanding applications.
