The RS Pro Optical Transmitter Jack Light Transmitting Unit is a standard-package product featuring a connector and an opto-electric component integrated with an LED and drive IC. It converts electric signals into light signals, which are transmitted via plastic fibber. Operating at a single voltage range of +3V to +5V with a TTL-compatible input signal, it achieves a maximum operating speed of 16Mbps. The light signal is efficiently coupled into plastic fibber through a connector, ensuring high performance with low dissipation current, steady light output, and effective light coupling. Applications include audio equipment, DVD players, TVs, digital optical data links, sound cards, and set-top boxes.
