Molex Micro-Fit RMF Female Crimp Terminal, 24 to 20AWG - 46235 Series - 46235-0002

Use this crimp socket from Molex to make secure and reliable wire-to-wire and PCB (printed circuit board) electrical connections. It's part of the Micro-Fit RMF (reduced mating force) series, which is designed to reduce the engagement and disengagement forces needed when making your join by as much as half. This enables easier connections that reduce strain for greater convenience. Wires sized 24 to 20AWG (American Wire Gauge) fit the terminal socket, which uses a crimp termination method to provide a strong, airtight and corrosion-resistant join.

• Construction features copper-zinc-tin contact plated in gold for durability and conductivity

• Wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C for use in harsh industrial conditions

• Multiple points of contact ensure a reliable connection

Applications

• Security systems

• Telecommunications and data transmissions

• Medical equipment

• Automotive manufacturing

Will vibrations or shock cause the connection to be lost?

No, vibrations or shock won't cause the connection to come loose because the crimp termination method creates a mechanically strong join that cold-welds the wires together. In addition, the connector uses locking tangs to secure the wires into position for even greater stability.

Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 mm Crimp Contacts

Pin and receptacle crimp contacts for use in the Micro-Fit 3.0 mm plug and receptacle housings. These crimp pin and receptacle terminals feature multiple points of contact for a reliable electrical connection and a higher current carrying capacity. Locking tangs on the crimp contacts secure them firmly in the connector housing. The 46235 series crimp contacts are RMF (Reduced Mating Force) contacts which have a reduced engagement and disengagement force for ease of use. These Micro-Fit crimp contacts are available with a range of platings and wire size ranges for design flexibility
