From TE Connectivity this contact is for use with AMP Circular Plastic Connectors (CPC) Series 5 & 6.

Series 5 power connectors have 3 pole Powerband contacts

Series 6 power connectors have 8 signal and 2 Powerband contacts

A wire entry seal is required in conjunction with the backshell

Include the flange seal with the panel socket for full sealing capabilities

Based on the successful and popular standard CPC series, these fully sealed IP65 power connectors utilise precision-formed Powerband contacts that offer a rating of up to 45A for single contacts, in isolation. Manufactured from high strength, impact resistant thermoplastic, rated UL94V-0, these connectors offer an economical, environmentally sealed solution.

Note

The correct assembly procedures must be followed to ensure a full IP65 rating.
