RS PRO 160 mm Wire Stripper, 0.1 mm ￫ 10 mm


When you're working with high voltages, use this RS PRO wire stripper to keep you safe. It meets the VDE (Verband der Elektrotechnik) standard for insulated hand tools, making it safe for use at voltages of up to 1000 V AC or 1500 V DC.

For extra comfort and safety, it has DuoTech soft-grip handles and moulded ends to prevent your hands from slipping towards the blade. The tooled-steel stripping blade makes light work of removing plastic insulation from single and multi-strand conductors. This blade is finished with chrome for extra durability and improved corrosion resistance, making this product a good choice for harsh industrial applications.

You'll find insulated wire strippers in any electrician or engineer's tool kit. This product meets ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 standards for protection against electrostatic discharge, so you and your equipment will be protected against static electricity build-up.
