The TL780 series precision voltage regulators have a fixed output of 5 V, 12 V or 15 V and supply 1.5 A of load current. Texas Instruments positive linear voltage regulators offer unique temperature-compensation technique, coupled with an internally trimmed band-gap reference. The TL780 features line, load, and thermal regulation as well as overload protection with the internal current-limiting and thermal-shutdown.
