The TE Connectivity Fusible resistor is a special type of resistor that acts as both a resistor and a safety fuse. It allows current to flow normally under standard conditions but will break the circuit if the current exceeds a safe level, thereby protecting electronic devices. Fusible resistors are commonly used in power supplies, chargers, and household appliances to prevent overheating and short circuits.
