If you find a discrepancy with the oil measurement, the oil is robust enough to be reused immediately. To ensure reliability, it's recommended that you test the oil multiple times so you can spot any discrepancies.

Yes, this reference oil is the recommended testing material for adjusting or recalibrating your measurement device. It should be heated to around +50°C for best results. To heat the oil, place the container in a large vessel with heated water until the appropriate temperature is reached.
