RS PRO 500 V Maximum Voltage Rating 1 Phase, Flange Mounting
Need an arc suppressor to protect your high-power circuits? Use this RS PRO single-phase RC (resistor-capacitor) component. It's suitable for a wide range of industrial applications as it's capable of operating to a maximum of 500 V (volts) and 1500 V peak-to-peak.
This component has two wire terminals for a simple and flexible connection across a switch in your electrical circuit. It comes with a flange mounting for fixing directly to a machine or vehicle chassis.
RC suppressors are used by engineers to control excessive loads in electrical circuits. They prevent damage to sensitive and critical components such as solid-state relays and thyristors. This capacitor has been tested by engineers and works in temperatures from -40°C to +70°C, so it can be used in a variety of environments from food manufacturing to data centres and storage facilities.
