RS PRO Electric Soldering Iron, 24 V, 60 W, for use with 256B Soldering Station, 989B Soldering Station
You can use this soldering iron from the RS PRO range with your 256B or 989B soldering stations. This iron channels heat to the soldering tip to melt your solder wire and create joints between parts and components.
The handle provides a non-slip grip so you can comfortably use this tool for your soldering jobs. You can connect different size soldering bits to the iron to solder various surface-mounting components. This product has a stainless barrel that makes it durable and rust-resistant. The alumina ceramic heating element provides rapid heat and heat insulation so you'll get a quick melt on your solder wire. This ceramic composition also makes it resistant to chemical damage and oxidation.
You can use this iron with soldering stations and hot air rework stations with operating temperatures of between +200°C and +480°C, so it facilitates working with lead-based solder wires. This soldering iron is also suitable for use on delicate printed circuit boards (PCBs).
