The SKF Tapered roller bearing cones (inner ring with rollers and cage) are intended to be combined with cups (outer ring) from the same series. Together they create a complete bearing that accommodates combined radial and axial loads and provides low friction during operation. By mounting one single row tapered roller bearing against another and applying a preload, a rigid bearing application can be achieved.
