StarTech Privacy Screen, Black, Tempered Glass - I15T2-PRIVACY-SCREEN

This privacy screen is a tempered glass Protector designed to obscure on-screen content outside the intended viewing angle for use with modern smartphones. It provides a clear central view while preventing peripheral visibility, supports touch input and gestures, and reduces blue light to improve viewing comfort during prolonged use. The accessory includes an applicator frame and installation kit to aid accurate placement on the device display.

Features and Benefits:

• ±30° viewing angle preserves on-screen confidentiality
• Touch-enabled glass maintains full touchscreen responsiveness
• Micro-louvre filter prevents Visual eavesdropping in public
• Tempered glass resists scratches and repels fingerprints
• Blue light reduction blocks 50% in 390nm to 440nm range

Applications

• Suitable for use on mobile devices during commuting
• Ideal for protecting sensitive data in open-plan offices
• Used for business travel to prevent shoulder surfing
• Can be used with portrait or landscape viewing modes

How does the installation kit aid fitting?

The self-adhesive filter is provided with an application frame, guide stickers, dust remover, wet wipes and a cloth to ensure precise, bubble-free alignment.

Will it affect front-facing sensors or Camera operation?

The tempered glass Protector is cut to avoid interference with the front camera, sensors around the display and earpiece.

How does the filter behave when the device is rotated?

The privacy performance is maintained in both portrait and landscape orientations with the same obscuring angle from the screen centre.

What finish does the Protector provide to the display?

It has a high-gloss surface that helps retain colour vibrancy while providing scratch and fingerprint protection.
