Phoenix Contact CLASSIC COMBICON IC 5.08mm Inverted Plug-in Connectors with Screw Connection

CLASSIC COMBICON IC 5.08 mm pitch inverted plug-in connectors with an inverted pin contact system, terminals rated at 12A / 320 V (Class III/2) and 0.2 - 2.5 mm2 screw connections. These CLASSIC COMBICON IC 5.08 mm pitch inverted plug-in connectors can be combined with inverted headers and connectors for shock-proof applications. Part numbers prefixed with 18253 and 18254 have a screw flange.
Part numbers prefixed with 18254 and 18256 (IC 2.5 - STGF) have a threaded flange for screw connection using MSTB plugs with a screw flange and can become an inline or panel feed-through terminal block with the IDC-DFR assembly frame.

Features and Benefits

  • Well known connection principle allows worldwide use

  • Easy PCB replacement thanks to plug-in modules

  • Inverted connector with pin contacts for touch-proof device outputs or free-hanging cable/cable connections

  • Can be combined with the MSTB 2.5 range

  • Maximum contact force means a low temperature rise

Phoenix Contact PCB Terminal Block, 5.08mm Pitch, 5 Way - IC 2.5/ 5-ST-5.08 - 1786200

Mount this Phoenix Contact terminal block directly onto your PCB to connect up to five cables. It's inverted, meaning you can connect leads from the underside of the conductor. This eliminates challenges with wire dressing in small areas, such as in LED (light-emitting diode) systems. Tin-plated contacts are rust-resistant and a pitch of 5.08mm ensures that cables are properly spaced to prevent short circuits.
This terminal block, from Phoenix Contact's rigorously tested CLASSIC COMBICON IC range, uses a screw-in connection for easy and reliable installation. A terminal sleeve protects the conductor from exposure to radial forces from the screw.
As the unit is designed to withstand maximum contact force, it experiences a low temperature rise and won't damage the PCB by overheating. A wide range of wire sizes, from 24 to 12AWG (American Wire Gauge), is supported, meaning it can be used for for a range of electrical and automation applications.

• Green polyamide material for durability
• Standard voltage rating of 320V and current rating of 12A
• UL (Underwriters Laboratories) 94V-0 flammability rating indicates burning stops within 10 seconds when a fire occurs
