Phoenix Contact PCB Terminal Strip, 3.81 mm Pitch, 8 Way - MKDS 1/ 8-3,81 - 1727078

This PCB (printed circuit board) terminal block is part of the trusted Phoenix Contact COMBICON range. It has screw connections with an integrated screw-locking system. This prevents wires from being accidentally disengaged and eliminates the need for retightening. The component suits a slotted-head screwdriver and is commonly used in automation applications.

The single-row, eight-contact unit is attached to a PCB using wave soldering technology. This provides a quick join with high levels of mechanical and electrical reliability. Its solder pins are separate from the terminal sleeve to stop wires from breaking and improve strain relief on connections. Low temperature rise ensures your PCB won't overheat, either.

This unit poses a low fire risk and has a UL (Underwriters Laboratory) 94 V-0 rating, meaning flames will extinguish within 10 seconds in the event of a fire.
