From RS PRO this is a Piezo switch housed within an aviation grade metal which has been milled for additional strength plus provides complete protection from water, chemicals, dirt, extreme temperatures plus the added protection from vandalism. The RS PRO piezo switch is a truly universally used switch not only used for applications on land, and in the air but used underwater capable of withstanding depths of up to 1 km, impact resistant to IK10. This tough hard wearing piezoelectric switch is touch activated suitable for various applications and rated for fifty million activations.
