Eaton Motor Protection Circuit Breaker, 10 to 16A Current Rating, 94 (D) x 45 (L) x 93mm (W) - XT Series - 265342 XTPR016BC1

Protect your motors against short circuits with this circuit breaker from Eaton. Thanks to its thermomagnetic tripping design, it instantly breaks when dangerous currents pass through, preventing damage to your equipment. The device works with currents between 10 and 16A, so it's ideal for common vehicle HVAC systems. For added protection, the unit trips when it detects phase failure in your power supply, stopping your motor from overheating. With its front-facing rotary dial, the switch is quick and easy to reset after tripping.

Features & Benefits

• Handles up to 40 operations an hour for reliable protection in intense applications

• Lockable rotary dial actuator prevents early reactivation and disruption from accidental tripping

• Screw terminals protect connections against movement

What's meant by phase failure?

Three-phase voltage is made up of three electrical elements. When one of these elements fails, it's called phase failure. It causes the current from the failed phase to flow through the other two elements, leading to overcurrent and overheating. This circuit breaker detects phase failure and breaks the circuit before it damages your motor.
