Schneider Electric Harmony Control Series Monitoring Relay, 8A Contact Current, 380/480V AC Monitoring Voltage Range - RM22TU23

This monitoring relay provides three-phase undervoltage, phase sequence and phase failure detection for industrial control systems. Designed for DIN‑rail mounting, it monitors 380 to 480V AC supplies and operates with a memory function to maintain relay state under defined conditions. The unit is suited to automation and electrical panels where Compact monitoring and clear LED status indicators are required.

Features & Benefits

• Two changeover contacts deliver switching capacity up to 8A for control loads
• Supply range 304 to 576V AC allows wide operating voltage tolerance
• True RMS measurement gives repeat accuracy of ±0.5% for inputs
• Power consumption 15 VA minimises panel loading at 480V AC
• Response time ≤300 MS enables prompt detection of phase issues
• Hysteresis fixed at 2% reduces false trips during supply fluctuations

Applications

• Suitable for motor protection monitoring against phase loss
• Ideal for control panels requiring phase‑sequence supervision
• Used with factory automation systems to detect undervoltage events
• Can be used for preventive monitoring in building services electrical racks

What Terminal types and conductor sizes are supported?

Screw terminals accept solid conductors 0.5 to 3.3mm² and flexible conductors 0.2 to 2.5mm² depending on configuration, with recommended tightening torque 0.6 to 1 N·m.

How does the device indicate status and faults?

A green LED shows supply presence and a yellow LED indicates relay energised state for straightforward Visual diagnostics.

What environmental limits affect operation?

It operates between −20 °C and 50 °C at 60 Hz, and up to 60 °C at 50 Hz, with storage from −40 °C to 70 °C and relative humidity tolerance up to 97% in specified ranges.

What mechanical and electrical lifecycle can be expected?

The relay is rated for about 100,000 electrical cycles and 10,000,000 mechanical cycles for long service life under specified conditions.

How is the unit mounted and secured in panels?

It snaps onto a 35mm DIN rail in any mounting orientation, with a self‑extinguishing plastic housing and IP20/IP40/IP50 protection levels for terminals, housing and front respectively.
