SICK C2C Series Light Curtain, 600mm Protective Height, 10m Scanning Distance - C2C-SA06010A10000

This light curtain is a sender unit designed for machine safeguarding in standard industrial environments. It provides an invisible near‑infrared protective field with optical synchronisation to a compatible receiver, operating from a 24V DC supply and intended for integration into safety circuits up to Type 2/PL c. The housing is an aluminium extruded profile and the unit is built for continuous use across a wide temperature range with sealed protection against dust and water.

Features and Benefits:

• 14mm beam resolution for precise intrusion detection
• 10m scanning distance to monitor extended hazard zones
• 2‑channel safety Type 2 reduces the risk of single‑fault failure
• M12 male connector enables Rapid system connection
• IP65/IP67 enclosure resists dust and water ingress

Applications

• Used with press lines requiring optical safeguarding
• Suitable for automated conveyor access protection
• Ideal for integration into safety relay interlock circuits
• Can be used for robot cell perimeter monitoring
• Used for machine guarding where near‑infrared sensing is needed

What supply voltage and power behaviour does it require?

It runs from 24V DC (19.2V to 28.8V) with typical power consumption 1.2W and ≤10% ripple.

How does the device indicate operational status?

Built‑in LEDs provide Visual status information for commissioning and fault detection.

What environmental conditions can it withstand?

It operates between -30°C and +55°C with 15% to 95% non‑condensing humidity and passes vibration and shock tests to the relevant standards.

Which output behaviour is provided on fault detection?

In a fault condition at least one OSSD is forced to the OFF state to interrupt the output.

What approvals and certifications support its use internationally?

It holds multiple declarations and approvals including CE, cUL, UKCA, RoHS, OSHA and GB/GB‑T compliance.
