The Vishay IR Receiver Module is designed for use in infrared remote control systems. It features a PIN diode and preamplifier assembled on a lead frame, with an epoxy package that includes an integrated IR filter to enhance signal clarity. The module provides a modulated output signal, carrier out which can be used for repeater applications and code learning, enabling the amplification and processing of IR signals for a variety of remote control functionalities.
