Harting Han-Com Series Heavy Duty Power Connector Insert, 80A Current Rating, 830V Voltage - 9380062701

This heavy-duty power connector insert is a cable-mounted, female insert designed for use in demanding industrial electrical connections. It provides a Compact means to distribute high currents within machine panels and mobile equipment. The insert is arranged in a 6+E contact format and is intended for straight-orientation installations where robust power transmission is required.

Features & Benefits

• 80 A current rating delivers high-conductance performance for heavy loads
• 830V voltage rating supports high-voltage distribution tasks
• Silver-plated copper-alloy contacts reduce contact resistance and improve conductivity
• Accepts conductors up to 16 mm² for substantial conductor cross-sections
• Two-row, six-contact layout Plus earth simplifies multi-pole power connections

**Applications**

• Suitable for power-feed connections in automation panels
• Ideal for mobile machinery and on-site power distribution
• Used with heavy-duty power housings for factory equipment
• Can be used for cable-gland installations requiring cable-mounted inserts

What contact material is used and how does it affect performance?

Contacts are MADE from a copper alloy, offering a balance of mechanical strength and electrical conductivity for sustained current carrying capacity.

What mounting style does it require for installation?

It is intended for cable mounting to form the cable-side half of a connector assembly.

Which industry standard relates to its insulation coordination?

The design conforms to the IEC 60664-1 standard for insulation coordination and related testing.

How many electrical poles are provided and how are they arranged?

There are six power contacts Plus an earth contact arranged across two rows in a straight orientation.

Note

The 221-1808 to 221-1791 series of crimp contacts utilise contact extraction tool - stock no. 313-6613. All others utilise extraction tool stock no. 114-7728

Approvals

UL, CSA, SEV

Warning

These connectors should not be mated or unmated under electrical load. Connectors of the same or different types arranged in a line should be polarised to prevent the possibility of wrong connection.
