From the trusted RS PRO series, this cassette tape cleaner is an effective solution to ensure that fibre connectors are free from dust, oils and particles that can cause poor performance and damage to fibres. The lightweight tool fits in the palm of your hand and a simple push-button provides the exact amount of cleaning tape needed. This minimises unwanted dust as the fibres are only exposed when the cassette cleaner is in use.
Cleaner tape provides consistent results without the use of IPA (isopropyl alcohol), which is toxic, flammable, and leaves a residue on fibre ends. You'll get over 400 wipes per tape, and replacement tapes are available from RS PRO. The ergonomic design is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed operators. As the cleaner tape shows excellent anti-static properties, it is commonly used in static-sensitive applications like in optical modules found in MR scanners.
