Magnetic RJ45 single port PDJack™ with integrated PD (Power Device) controller circuitry and PoE Plus Ethernet connectivity. The bridge rectifiers accommodate all PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) types as required for IEEE compliance and the detection and classification circuitry is fully IEEE802.3 compliant. The RJ45 magnetic PDJack™ has stainless steel EMI shielding and ESD protection as well as an efficient thermal design which makes it suitable for use in wide operating temperature ranges and passive airflow environments. Two pins of the RJ45 PDJack™ output power, standard signal pins provide Ethernet connectivity and additional pins allow power-up of external DC to DC converter. The PDJack™ manages all communications with switch/router PoE controllers including negotiating power requirements and managing safe power-up and power-down of PD devices such as IP phones, IP cameras, wireless access points, control panels, vision systems and POS units.
