TE Connectivity HDSCS MCP 6.3/4.8K Tab Contacts with Single Wire Sealing System (SWS)


MCP 6.3/4.8K tab timer contacts with single wire sealing system (SWS) with symmetrical cantilever steel springs and a mating interface area of 5.80 x 0.80mm. These MCP 6.3/4.8K tab timer contacts accept a wire size range of 1.5 to 2.5mm2 and mate with the MCP 6.3/4.8K contact system but can also be used within the heavy duty sealed connector series (HDSCS) and Standard Power Timer connector systems.

These HDSCS automotive connectors have rugged thermoplastic housings and are designed to withstand tough and harsh environments and high levels of vibration. The sealing provides IP67 protection against dust and water. This robust construction ensures high performance, reliability and long-term use. These HDSCS automotive connectors can be used for wire to wire or wire to device applications. The HDSCS connector housings are available in 5 different sizes from 2 to 18 ways and accept AMP MCP 1.5K, AMP MCP 2.8 or AMP MCP 6.3/4.8K receptacle or tab contacts.
