The Dynamic 5000 series was developed for up to 45 amperes in response to the demand for improved reliability and productivity for the main power lines in Equipment. They can be used for a variety of applications as replacements for terminal blocks, or round terminals. It is compact but with a high current capacity. In addition, it has a wide variety of housings to cover all applications from PCB to internal wiring distributions.

High Current Contact

The D-5000 series uses the same 'twis-resistant' box shape contact as the rest of the Dynamic series contacts. The material is the same copper alloy developed for the D-3000 series with its superior elasticity and conductivity, which results in a reliable, robust contact capable of high current. Silver plating is also available for high amperage applications.

The Sequential Mating means that the build up of static charge in the sequential contact is grounded first at mating.
