As the unit is MADE from strong and pliant phosphor bronze with malleable tin plating, it's easy to create a firm and long-lasting hold. Once inserted into your choice of plastic housing, the locking tang prevents the connection from coming loose. This makes it practical for use in applications where vibration and movement are likely, including automotive electronics and industrial control panels.
