Schneider Electric LC2K Series Reversing Contactor, 48V Coil Voltage, 9A Contact Current - LC2K09015E7

This reversing contactor is a compact, three-pole switching device designed to change motor rotation and control resistive loads in industrial control systems. It is intended for panel-mounted control applications and is supplied preassembled with a reversing power busbar to simplify installation in control cabinets.

Features & Benefits

• 48V AC Coil reduces control-voltage complexity for installations
• 9A AC-3 rating allows switching of motors up to 4kW where required
• 3NO main poles with one NC auxiliary for flexible control logic
• Solder-pin terminals enable direct printed-circuit-board integration
• 690V rated operational voltage supports high-voltage systems
• Rail and plate mounting gives adaptable fitting options

Applications

• Suitable for reversing small three-phase motors in automation panels
• Ideal for motor starters in light industrial drive systems
• Used for controlling resistive loads in equipment control circuits
• Can be used for OEM printed-circuit assemblies requiring a reversing function

What control-circuit voltage range will reliably operate the device?

The Coil is specified for 48V AC and will function within 0.8 to 1.15Uc under normal conditions with drop-out behaviour down to 0.2 to 0.75Uc at temperatures below 50°C.

How does it perform under short-duration overloads?

Short-time withstand ratings include 90A for 1s and 45A for 1min at 50°C for the power circuit, providing defined tolerance to transient fault currents.

What protection and endurance characteristics are provided for switching cycles?

Electrical endurance is up to 1.3M cycles for AC-3 duty at the rated operational current, while mechanical life reaches around 5M cycles.

How is the device accommodated on a PCB or mounting rail?

Connections are via solder pins with a busbar cross section of 1.5x0.9mm and the unit supports both plate and rail mounting for flexible assembly.
