The ams AG 6 pin of ambient light sensor has light-to-digital converter that approximate human eye response to light intensity under a variety of lighting condition. It is ideal for use in mobile handsets, TVs, tablets, monitors and portable media players. In this display backlight may account for 50% to 70% of the system power consumption.
