The TE Connectivity Connector Backshell Adapter is a ruggedized cable termination accessory designed to provide environmental sealing, strain relief, and EMI/RFI shielding in demanding applications. Its straight body orientation and side-entry termination style support efficient cable routing and secure mechanical coupling. Constructed from aluminum with cadmium plating, it offers corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The adapter is compatible with circular MIL-spec connectors and supports Tinel-Lock termination for overbraid shielding. It’s ideal for aerospace, defense, and industrial systems requiring high-performance interconnect solutions.
Supports cable entry diameters from 0.2 to 15.9 millimeters
Operates across temperature range from minus 65 to 175 degrees Celsius
Provides 500-hour salt spray resistance for harsh environments
Compatible with MIL-DTL-38999 Series III and IV connector specifications
Includes side-entry Tinel-Lock termination device for EMI shielding
