SKF Plain Deep-Groove Ball Bearing, 10mm ID, 19mm OD - 61800-2Z
This deep-groove ball bearing from SKF can handle both axial and radial loads at high rotational speeds. The finely graded steel balls and polished raceway reduce friction, limit noise and minimise vibration for an efficient operation that needs little maintenance. The shielded end extends the unit's life by trapping necessary grease inside, while keeping contaminants out. You'll find it easy to mount this component onto your shaft thanks to the parallel bore.
• Built from steel for optimal performance and durability
• A dynamic load rating of 1.38 kN (kilonewtons) offers power and reliability
Applications
• Food and beverage industry
• Medical equipment
• Engines, motors and pumps
What's better, a shielded or sealed end on a bearing?
Both shielded and sealed ends are designed to protect the bearing from contaminants such as dust and prevent the loss of necessary grease and oil. Sealed types generally offer a tighter buffer. With a contact seal, however, friction generated by the seal coming into contact with the inner ring of the bearing can increase rotational torque. A shielded end doesn't come into contact with the inner ring, so it reduces torque.
