Siemens SIRIUS Innovation Auxiliary Contact, 6A DC/10A AC, 250V DC/690V AC - 3RH2Series - 3RH2911-1HA22

Install this high-performance auxiliary contact from Siemens' SIRIUS Innovation range with your main contactors to increase the amount of electricity that can flow through your system. It's a front-mount electromechanical device with four contacts – two normally closed (NC) and two normally open (NO) – used in conjunction with primary switching equipment such as contactors, circuit breakers, switches and relays. The unit changes states along with your main switches to transmit power signals to logic controllers. This, in turn, activates or deactivates the selected functions of linked devices. You can use this unit with applications such as relay logic circuits, solid-state electronics and electric motors.

• Wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +60°C for use in harsh industrial settings

• Snap-on mounting style enables quick and effortless installation

• Screw terminal ensures the secure termination of contacts for reliable and uninterrupted conductivity

• IP20 (ingress protection) rating means the unit is touch-proof to promote electrical safety

What's the difference between main and auxiliary contacts?

Main contacts carry high voltage and high current. An auxiliary contact handles low voltage and low current, as it's an add-on device meant to boost the power capabilities of the main contact.
