Step-Down Autotransformers, E-JET Series
The E-JET step-down autotransformers allow the adjustment and operation of 110 V appliances connected to 230 V mains.
Using autotransformers achieves an approx. 50% lower nominal rating compared to transformers with galvanically isolated windings.
To ensure the output voltage to earth is not greater that the nominal output voltage, the output voltage (monitored electronically) is only switched when the safety plug is correctly inserted in the mains socket.
