RS PRO 1000 μF Electrolytic Capacitor 25 V DC, Through Hole
Use this electrolytic capacitor from RS PRO to prevent voltage ripple in switching power supplies and filtering devices. When used in connection with coupling and decoupling applications, it suppresses undesirable noise generated within the circuit to help protect the power source.
The capacitor generates electrostatic fields to store electrical energy. Its safety vent construction ensures that gas is released, which stops the capacitor from exploding in case of over-voltage. It's a through-hole type component, meaning you can use the holes in your printed circuit board (PCB) to mount it.
This aluminium capacitor is a radial-type component, which means that both leads come out of the same side. It's a general-purpose component that's suitable for a wide range of applications, including communication equipment and storing power in flash lamps.
