RS PRO 1000 μF Electrolytic Capacitor 16 V DC, Through Hole
Use this electrolytic capacitor from RS PRO to reduce voltage ripple and filter out noise in a wide range of power supplies. This component uses electrolytes to generate electrostatic fields and store electrical energy. It's a radial type, which means both of its leads protrude from one side.
This capacitor has a safety vent feature that allows gas out, which stops it from exploding should the voltage exceed recommended limits. As it's a through-hole mounted unit, it's easy to mount using the holes in your PCB (printed circuit board).
