RS PRO 1000 μF Electrolytic Capacitor 16 V DC, Through Hole


This RS PRO capacitor is a general-purpose electrolytic capacitor, meaning it uses electrolytes to create electrostatic fields and store electrical energy. It's a radial type of capacitor and has both leads coming out of one side.

The product features a safety vent construction to let the gas out and prevent the capacitor from exploding when the voltage gets too high. It's a through-hole type component, which means you need to run the terminals through holes in your printed circuit board (PCB) to mount it.

This product meets Electrostatic Control Standards ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 to guarantee any risk of electrostatic discharge is reduced to a minimum.
